BRITs 2015 Style Round Up

Well last night’s BRIT Awards were certainly jam packed full of drama and fabulous styles! From Taylor Swift’s incredible opening performance to Madonna’s spectacular tumble, the BRITs 2015 is a night we won’t be forgetting in a hurry!

As usual, our Creative Director Kieron Fowles was on hand to give his round-up of the night’s best looks…

Taylor is a great example of how versatile a bob can be! She kicked off the night with a loose pinned updo before transforming her locks into a super-sleek bob with plenty of volume for a real on-trend ’70s vibe. These are my top tips for recreating her blow dry:

Step One: Prep hair with Wella Professionals Natural Volume Mousse and blow dry using a large barrel brush to add plenty of lift.

Step Two: Mist DESIGNLINE Hot Stop Style Primer over dry tresses before running 2-3 inch sections through the ghd Eclipse.

Step Three: Shake Redken Powder Grip into dry roots for added volume and texture. Complete the look with a spritz of Paul Mitchell Freeze & Shine Super Spray for a glossy finish.

Rita Ora looked amazing with a voluminous, brushed back style – a much edgier take on the slicked back styles we saw at the Oscars.

Step One: Spritz Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Texturizing Sea Spray over damp hair to add plenty of texture.

Step Two: Blast hair dry, directing sections away from your face. If you want even more lift, backcomb a few sections around the crown and smooth over with a bristle brush.

Step Three: Spray DESIGNLINE Texture Tousle Flexible Finisher over dry locks and scrunch into shape for added texture through the lengths.
