Celebrate good times with good hair: 4 easy hairstyles for any occasion

Celebration season is just around the corner which means your diaries are likely packed with birthdays, gigs, nights out with the girls, and all kinds of events! Well, we’re here to help you look good for every occasion.

After two long years of not being able to celebrate with friends and family, you deserve to attend feeling like your best self! With our 4 easy hairstyles inspired by red carpet looks and upcoming trends of this season, you can leave the house feeling like royalty.

So, will it be a quirky statement look or a classic updo? We’ve got both for you.

Look 1: Half up half down with bow  

If you prefer to let your locks down and go for a chicer look, then this one’s for you. And why not pair your a half up half down style with an accessory to create a cute but sophisticated look.

Step 1: Prep the hair thoroughly using Amika The Wizard Detangling Primer to speed up drying time. Twist sections of the hair tightly and apply heat using a Ghd Helios to create a loose wave.

Step 2: Work Eimi Dry Shampoo into the hair to add texture.  Comb hair back into a half up pony using the Rock & Ruddle hairbrush and leave loose tendrils out at the front to frame the face. Secure the pony with an elastic.  

Step 3: Use a bow (or any accessory of your choice) and secure this directly above the pony. Finish the look with a spritz of Amika Headstrong Hairspray for a firm hold.  

Look 2: Space buns

Want to feel out of this world? Then this quirky funky, show-stopper style is a perfect look to have you stand out from the crowd. From a festival frenzy to a girlie night out, this style will make all heads turn!

Step 1: Work Wella Eimi Dry Shampoo through the hair to give texture and create volume.  
Use the Ghd Helios hairdryer to flush out excess product. 

Step 2: After creating a middle part, section half of the hair using a Ghd Tail Comb and leave out loose tendrils at the front to frame the face.   

Step 3: Using the Rock & Ruddle Large Mixed Bristle Hairbrush start sweeping the hair upwards to create high pigtails and secure with an elastic.  

Step 4: Spritz Amika Fluxus Touchable Hairspray into the pigtails and twist upwards for a secure, firm hold. Wrap the tails into a knot and secure with U-pin. Leave the ends flicking out of the knots for extra detail.  

Step 5: Use Wella Eimi Dry Shampoo again to add extra volume to the front loose tendrils.  

Step 6: Seal the look with Amika Fluxus Touchable Hairspray.   

Look 3: Chic pony with bow

Finishing off any look with a stunning accessory makes it a glam showstopper. This can be anything from colourful scrunchie to a patterned scarf! On this occasion we opted for a cute, oversized bow.

Step 1: Prep the hair thoroughly using Amika The Wizard Detangling Primer to protect it and speed up drying time.

Step 2: Twist sections of the hair tightly and apply heat using a Ghd Helios Hairdryer to create a loose wave throughout the hair.

Step 3: Use a Ghd Tail Comb to part hair in the middle.

Step 4: Brush hair back into a low pony using a Rock & Ruddle Large Mixed Bristle Brush. Leave loose tendrils out at the front to shape and frame the face. Secure with an elastic.

Step 5: Gently pull at the back of the hair to add volume and loosen the pony. Use Wella Eimi Dry Shampoo for added texture.    

Step 6: Use a giant bow (or accessory of your choice) and secure this directly above the pony.  Secure the look with Amika Headstrong Hairspray.  

Look 4: Messy bun

We all crave that ‘messy bun’ look, so we have pulled together some easy at home steps on how to achieve it with a stylish but flawless finish.

Step 1: Spritz into wet hair Ghd Body Goals Total Volume Foam for extra volume. Distribute Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil throughout the strands to prevent frizz.

Step 2: Dry using a Ghd Helios, drying up from the roots around the face to create lift.

Step 3: Taking the hair in sections, curl the hair backwards using a Ghd Creative Curl Wand to create an effortless loose wave.

Step 4: Spray Morrocanoil Dry Texture Spray throughout the curls and brush out using a Rock and Ruddle Large Mixed Bristle Hairbrush.

Step 5: Brush hair back into a low pony using the Rock & Ruddle Hairbrush’ Twist the hair into two sections and wrap back onto each other and twist into a knot. Secure hair and work the knot for a soft effortless shape.

Step 6: Finish the look with a spritz of Moroccanoil Dry Texture Spray over the ends and the knot for a long-lasting hold
