Festival Fever: Must-Have Braids at Supercuts

From the Felder Felder runway at LFW to the Kardashian clan’s Snapchats, braids have been everywhere this year.  And with their easy-to-manage, bohemian vibe, they’re proving to be the hairstyle for the festival season this year.

Partnering with Wella’s styling brand EIMI, our Creative Director, Kieron Fowles, has put together two looks that will have you looking Glastonbury-glam in no time. Pop into your local Supercuts and have one of our stylists work their magic…

Look One: The Halo Braid

Flowers are so 2015 – this year, your hair is your crown. For the Halo Braid, hair is reverse-braided down the parting and split into two smaller braids that are wrapped around the head to meet at the back. Complimenting this season’s ethereal trend, the rest of the hair is left in loose, effortless waves for a look that’s as pretty as it is practical.

Look Two: Messy Mane Braid

Girls with a wilder side will love the raw, rocky edge to our Messy Mane Braid. An extreme side parting and lots of volume at the roots creates a fearless silhouette, while a fishtail braid twisted close behind the ear has a faux undercut effect.  A loose fishtail braid on the other side of the head finishes the disheveled, carefree look.Festival Fever Supercuts 2
