Funky Festival hair: 3 easy trendy looks you can create from your tent!

Festival season is here, woo!

Nothing kicks off summer quite like a festival. Creating colourful fits, being covered head to toe in glitter, rocking the boldest makeup looks, and making the best memories dancing the night away to your favourite artists… perfection!

But we know the pressure will be on to look your absolute best this summer to make up for lost time, but don’t worry, you’re in good hands with us.

To our hardcore campers, we have got the perfect festival styles for you that you can create from the comfort of your own tent!

Look 1: Half up half down space buns

Suns out, buns out! Perfect for all hair types, you’ll look and feel like the brightest star in the galaxy with this look!

Step 1: Spritz Amika The Wizard Detangling Primer throughout the hair to soften and provide texture.

Step 2: Using the Ghd Helios Hairdryer and the Rock & Ruddle Hairbrush, twist sections of hair as you blow dry to give shape and create volume.

Step 3: Create a centre parting using a pintail comb and then separate the front sections of the hair on both sides.

Step 4: Spritz Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray into the front sections of the hair and work the Rock & Ruddle Hairbrush through to slick back and form a small ponytail. Secure these with an elastic.

Step 5: Take a pea size amount of the Moroccanoil Intense Curl Cream and work this into each ponytail to slick all of the hair together to easily create the buns.

Step 6: Twist the ponytails around on themselves to create a small bun either side, leaving the ends of the hair facing out for added detail, and secure in place with U-pins and with a light spritz of the Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray.

Step 7: Work the Ghd Platinum+ Styler through the lengths of the hair for a sleek, straight finish.

Step 8: Spritz a small amount of Moroccanoil Volumising Mist and Eimi Dry Shampoo to add texture and volumize!

Look 2: Liquid hair with side braids

Adding a pop of colour in your hair for a festival really hits different but dyeing your hair may not be an option for our kings and queens who wish to get back to business when Monday rolls back around.

But why not use some colourful elastics to create a look that’s a little bit extra?

Step 1: Spritz Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine and Ghd Pick Me Up Root Lift Spray and give the hair a quick blast with the Ghd Helios Hairdryer to create texture and make hair sleek for styling.

Step 2: Using the Ghd Tail Comb to separate the hair, work the Ghd Platinum+ Styler through the hair for a sleek, straight finish.

Step 3: Take small strands of hair at the sides of the head and create small plaits throughout the hair.

Step 4: Secure colourful elastics around each plait, working from the bottom of the plait all the way up, to add pops of colour throughout the hair. Go and be bright!

Woke up with bed head and need a quick fix before the first set? Create this look in no time and don’t miss a single second on the dancefloor!

Step 1: Use the Ghd Tail Comb to create a centre parting and separate the hair in two at the back.

Step 2: Starting at the front of the head, begin creating a French plait and follow this all the way to the ends of the hair. Repeat this on the other side so that both sides are braided.

Step 3: Spritz Moroccanoil Dry Shampoo into the ends of the plaits to pad the hair and create extra grip.

Step 4: Cross over the two plaits and wrap around each other to create a bun and secure with U-pins.

Step 5: Seal and secure the look with a spritz of Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray.
