Get the Halloween Look: Mermaid

Halloween Mermaid

The glittery, sparkly, colour rich craze that continues to dominate our Instagram feeds can be summed up in one glitzy Halloween look: the mermaid.

Celebrities have taken it upon themselves to amaze us year after year with their mermaid transformations, each more show-stopping than the last. However now with the glitter and colour trend in full swing we feel it’s no better time than to add a bit of mystic magic to your Halloween look this year. From Kim K’s curve hugging mermaid outfit to Vanessa Hudgen’s enviable long red hair would have given Ariel a run for her money (when she had feet that is). With mermaid looks a plenty, we’ve seen them all – or so we thought.

It’s no wonder celebs are opting for these aquatic-themed, rainbow-esque creatures. Complete with shimmering multi-toned turquoise scales and an ethereal glow – these looks are officially the 2018 Halloween takeover.

It’s not hard to see the appeal. You get to ramp up the volume on all your favourite things. Bright colours? Check. Glitter? Check. Pearls? Check. Two toned patterns and sparkly gems? Major check.

To help you dive into your own ocean look we filmed Creative Director Kieron Fowles work his magic to create this mesmerising mermaid hair for Halloween. We promise you’ll be reaching for your colour sprays and iridescent highlighter by the time you’ve finished watching it!
