From JLo wearing a dress that was cut to her belly button to Lady Gaga arriving on the red carpet in an egg (yep, an actual egg, if you’d forgot), the Grammys have always boasted some of the most talked-about award show outfits. This weekend, the biggest names in the music biz descended on LA for the 59th annual Grammys – and once again they didn’t disappoint in the style stakes. From the fab to the freaky (yes Cee Lo Green, we’re looking at you), here’s our rundown of the hottest looks from this year’s show…
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend (above)
Everything these two do is total #RelationshipGoals anyway, so it’s no surprise that the power couple make our list. Chrissy’s newly-cut long bob helped keep the focus on her cutaway-detail dress, while John kept his look fun by teaming his black suit with a fresh peach shirt-and-bowtie combo.
No stranger to a hair colour change, Katy Perry’s marked her comeback by hitting the bottle – the bleach bottle, that is. She debuted the new shade a few weeks ago, but the Grammys saw her rocking an almost platinum colour on her collarbone-skimming locks. Thinking of going for this length yourself? Check out our blog post to see whether the lob will suit you.
In a night where she was nominated for 8 awards but left with none, Rihanna still stole the show – firstly, for looking like this (loveheart-eye-emoji) and secondly, for spending the night swigging from a diamante-encrusted hip flask. Err, where do we apply to be her BFF?
As the host of E!’s Live From the Red Carpet coverage on the night, Ryan Seacrest had to make sure he was looking his best. The super-groomed presenter looked as clean-cut as ever, but his velvet jacket helped give the outfit some oomph.
In head-to-toe Dolce & Gabdana, Jason Derulo was without a doubt one of the best dressed men on the red carpet. From the fur collar to the sharp facial hair, we love everything about this look. Proving that slaying has no age limit, JLo did what JLo does best: turned up looking absolutely amazing. This sugary sweet lilac ensemble might not be everyone’s style, but we think she still works it. We also love her super-sleek, super-straight hair – and you can recreate it with this tutorial (yay!)
