Our favourite stars of the small screen braved the icy temperatures last night to celebrate the best of TV at the National Television Awards 2016.
Always a super glam occasion, we weren’t left disappointed as TV’s finest arrived at The O2 in London. There was plenty of style inspiration on the red carpet; here’s just a few of our top hair and beauty looks…
Poker straight, glossy tresses seemed to be the style of the night with Ferne McCann, Jessica Wright and Catherine Tyldesley leading the way. This look is perfect for both long and shorter lengths: set your hair in a centre parting like Ferne and Catherine to stay in keeping with this season’s trend. To ensure the smoothest, sleekest locks that will last through the night, we wouldn’t recommend anything other than ghd’s ultimate hair straightener: the ghd Platinum! This heat styler is a must-have for getting maximum shine from your straighter style.
Jorgie Porter went for an ultra glam high ponytail, complete with dazzling hair accessory to complement her futuristic silver dress. Ponytails are making a huge comeback this year so this is definitely a ‘do try for your next night out. It’s so quick and easy to do; just follow our how to guide.
Michelle Keegan also went for an updo, styling her long locks into a low chignon. Loosely pinned chignons and buns look set to be a big trend for spring/summer so this is a great style if you’re already thinking about your hairstyle for prom!
Our top style of the night goes to Vicky Pattison. The reigning Queen of the Jungle looked worlds away from her I’m A Celebrity… days with glamorous Hollywood curls. She was joined by Hollyoaks’ Nikki Sanderson in her choice of timeless hairstyle. Steal their style with our tutorial to creating the perfect Hollywood waves.
