New Year Hair & Beauty Resolutions

It’s that time of year again; the dreaded New Year’s resolutions that follow the weeks of festive fun and indulgence. As if January wasn’t hard enough already! This year, instead of setting over-ambitious goals that we’re bound to fail at (who needs the gym?!) we’ve chosen a few simple changes we can make to our daily routine to ensure luscious locks, a glowing complexion and bundles of energy for 2016!

We will… Protect our locks before heat styling. They may give us super-sleek styles and head-turning curls but without a heat protection cream or spray, our favourite tongs and straighteners will cause damage to our tresses in the long run. A quick spritz of EIMI Thermal Image will help keep your locks in tip top condition.

We will… Up our water intake. Keeping hydrated throughout the day not only helps us feel more alert but will drinking plenty of water will help rid our bodies of toxins and keep skin looking healthy and radiant. So two litres per day it is and no less.

We will… Discover the benefits of three step hair care. We already know a complementary conditioner enhances the benefits of our shampoo but not all of us have realised we can take our hair care regime to the next level by adding in an intensive hair mask. Treating your locks to an intensive conditioner once a week will help revitalise and nourish each strand for beautiful, super-soft tresses. We love the DESIGNLINE Olive Oil Shampoo, Olive Oil Conditioner and Olive Oil Leave-In Conditioner.

We will… Get regular trims to keep our style fresh and split ends at bay. The best thing about Supercuts? You don’t need an appointment! So pop in at a time convenient for your and one of our friendly, professional stylists will be able to give your style a revamp. Find your nearest Supercuts salon using our online locator tool so you can enjoy great hair all year round.
