Behind The Scenes at Shout Magazine

This month our creative director, Guy Cammarano and Bradley Byrnes from The Edge are featured in the Shout magazine Christmas issue. Guy was invited to style the hair for a shoot in Manchester with clothes by Quiz and make-up by SEVENTEEN. The magazine is out on newsstands now so for top tips on the latest party style grab your copy before they get snapped up, and check out what happened behind the camera here:

The first look was a nod to 1940s vintage with a gorgeous victory roll. Guy and Bradley, from The Edge, created a stand-out look with this show stopping roll and stunning loose waves. A sparkly bow provided added Christmas sparkle.

Stepping even further back in time, the next style was a gorgeous take on the 1920s fingerwave but made easy with a simple-to-use heated waver. Proving just how versatile this style is, Guy transformed the long mermaid-esque waves into a faux bob in less than five minutes! Long or short this look is so uber-glamorous and perfect for party season.

The brief for the last style was party punk and Guy really let his inner punk out when creating this messy, wild updo. Looking at the finished article you might wonder how all that hair stayed on the lovely Grace’s head – well, Guy’s style secret was to sew up the hair with a large plastic needle and thread. Watch the sewing in action here:

At the end of a very busy day Guy and Bradley were beaming with pride and Grace looked fabulous. The look fitted perfectly with the faux leather skater skirt and crop top combo, which had all the ladies on the shoot desperate to hit the shops.
