Another week on X Factor, and another round of ups and downs from the contestants as far as performances and song choices. This week’s theme of the Great British songbook saw some big songs tackled with mixed results, but we thought the style was all winning.
As ever, Nicole looked fantastic on Saturday night, going for a much more funloving and casual look that usual. She showed us how to rock a top ponytail with attitude, giving a little 80s edge to her style.
To achieve this look simply make hair as textured as possible – apply a moose though hair (try Designline Volumizing Mousse) then finger dry into hair. Once this is dry comb hair up on top of the head the secure with a band and mess the pony up with your fingers. Don’t forget, the rougher the better for textured styles like this one.
Hannah’s hair was another hit on the Sunday show for me. Looking shiny, healthy and touchable with a 50s front quiff, I liked the added with added hair grip to make it current and stand-out.
For me my hair of the week has to go to all the boys hair, not for styling but for their sharp haircuts done to perfection! From sharp hairlines to flawless hair blending this takes skill, well done Jamie Stevens. To achieve Gary’s hair simply keep the top long but layered, giving you a really current and easy to achieve look. Style with Matt Head from Bed Head to achieve a strong hold look.
