Meet Victoria

What most excites you about being a part of the Edge Artistic Team?
I’m excited about getting involved in the more creative side of the industry – I’ve always loved the thought of being involved in photo shoots and working backstage at fashion shows and The Edge is the perfect opportunity for these kind of experiences.

As a stylist, what are you most passionate about?
I am passionate about all aspects of the hairdressing industry, I love creative styling and updos but my main passion is definitely colour, taking part in the Wella Master Colour Programme has definitely boosted my confidence and passion for colour 100%

Name some of your personal fashion & style inspirations
I like to mix up my wardrobe, having a mixture of boho and a slightly grungier looks. I get some of my inspiration from Agyness Deyn and Madonna in the 80s as I love to accessorise, especially hair accessories.
As far as hairdressing heroes go, I spent a day working with Bruce Masefield and Edward Darley they were amazing to work alongside!

Who are your celebrity hair favourites right now?
I have always loved Beyonce and how she can carry any style she takes on, her very recent dramatic change from long locks to a short beautiful crop proves that!

Do you have any personal hair horrors you’re willing to share with us?
I’ve been quite lucky as far as hair horrors go, however I had one horrific haircut when I was a teenager that involved long hair with layers about 2 inches long on top – it’s safe to say I had to tie my hair back for a long time.

What are your other passions outside of hairdressing?
I love music and fashion, and I enjoy being outside, going for walks, and I love to go cycling
